Thanks for the comments guys also tan top any really it doesn't even need a motor. I'm wanting to drop a 440 in one or a 396 just for fun I want to make a nice fun cruiser. I have a friend dropping a viper motor in a challenger I thought about doing that but changed my mind pretty quick.

Nice looking rides you got there. It's about time you got yourself a second generation Charger. If you can afford it find one that doesn't need much or any work.   :Twocents:  Ted

Here is a guy on this site putting a Viper engine into a 70 Charger.

Jk with you. :icon_smile_big: 426 HEMI or 426 Wedge? :shruggy:
First gen HEMI (392) hardware is expensive, and swapping them into Chargers is a chore. Although the guy who built DUKETONA did it.
426 HEMI's are also very rare and very expensive.

Luvgoinfast

Hemi I would prefer I heard it's kind of a pain but I really have nothing to do in the winter months and have our whole racecar shop open until Jan. most of the time. I have some guys that said they could do and I trust them since they do help build my chassis' for racing haha. Also I was wondering can you use a newer hemi like out of the new chargers?

YES!!! :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:
A few guys have done it, and they have had amazing results. Auto Dynamics did the 6.1L, and his car is awesome! This is what I plan to do with my car in the future.

Luvgoinfast

Maybe I'll go with the 6.1 stroked to a 426 then. Anyone have info on what all I need to do it? Before I get a head of myself I need a car first haha.

The member autodynamics has all the info you need. A thread about his car is here somewhere.

Here it is! http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,19141.0.html

Indy Cylinder Head makes stroker 426 3G HEMI crate engines if you are so inclined to install one. :punkrocka:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Welcome

Luvgoinfast

I would consider it chargerrt but the wife said I couldn't cause she wouldn't want to hear me whine haha. I guess I whined to much when I got rid of the challenger srt last year if it was a 70's model I would of kept it haha.
