Absolutely incredible!!! :o
This gentleman has some serious talents/gifts.  Hope he doesn't get exploited by this, but at the same time, hope he is lauded and this provides stability for his family.  I don't like the pressure that was put on him time wise, but then again if he's ok with it, then I am.
Nice video, thanks.  I'll be sending that one to my younger sister. :2thumbs:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Man, that's pretty impressive!
That ranks right up there with that woman who remembers every single little detail of her life clear back to childhood.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

He's not so special.  My wife puts him to shame. She can remember and recite in vivid detail every mistake i have made since I met her.

I'm going to say that there is a whole slew of her sisters out there. I think I married the other one, and I"m sure there are more. Then again when you screw up as much as most of us guys do, the list starts to become rather lengthy doesn't it?

A very popular saying in Maine and I think it will be appropriate here.
"They're all sisters" in reference to a female in general.

Check this out.  A very talented artist for sure! :o Give him some time and look at what he can do.  I'll be looking into prices.  I think one of his pieces would be nice to have.

Amazing.  I couldn't even tell you how many houses are on my street.

What's interesting is that scientists generally consider his ability a brain defect, moreso than a gift.

I've seen some documentaries and read some articles about people like him...savant is the most commonly used term, though there's no real consensus agreement on a single "condition."  In the overwhelming majority of cases, these gifts (memory, math, music, drawing, etc.) come at a loss somewhere else.  Most of these folks are considered disabled, autistic, or just weird, depending on who you talk to.  It's like there's a part of the brain that gets used for these extraordinary abilities, instead of the normal ability for human interaction or something.  Very interesting, IMO.  Makes me think there's a few members here with INCREDIBLE memories.  hehe... :nana: :D
