Im in the market for a gas tank and sending unit, is ebay my best bet?  Are there differences in the tanks, and if so which ones are good quality?   :shruggy:

I got from vans auto salvage on its ebay store... best price around ( I got on less than $50 a year and a half ago ), cheaper shipping, closer to factory built ( brass floater and metalic strap, not a wire ) and piece works perfect.
BY NOW, not a problem... dunno if later.

JUTS one con!!! outlet is not angled like the original!

well really one con more... twice I have to "shake" the gas tank ( well, really had to kick the tank LOL ) to make it work back because lost the reading. MOSTLY SURE the point inside rheostat system is barelly making contact. I noticed the point quite often was not making noise at certain points when moving the floater arm before mount but I didn't want to touch it before test it on car. Easy to save, just bendind a little bit the point tab to give more pressure against rheostat. Piece of cake, but the true is I have the perfect reading when full and empty, not unnacurate/wrong readings at all!!!
