I live on a steep hill, and we woke up to a 2" coating of ice on our streets today..

Well, this lady comes down my street and slid into a curb. She was also in a snowbanking.. Obviously realizing she was stuck, she got out of her Toyota Camry and proceed to put sand under her rear tires.    She did this 4X before getting back in her car and just sitting there waiting for help  (which was me).

Yep! :smilielol:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

 Yep!! I couldn't believe it. She'd put it around her REAR tires, get in the car, sit & spin, and repeat. I couldn't take it any more. I think I had tears running down my face when I walked up and said "Need a hand??"

That is funny, at least she tried though.  My wife would probably call me crying........

Yeah, it's pretty bad.. Spring isn't coming fast enough.

Yeah, my snow blower is definitely getting a workout.  On a side not I have been following the progress on your car, I am a bit of a Dukes fan, went to a few of the dukesfests...Can't wait to see pics of it when it's done....sorry about the mess you had to deal with though.

Thanks man.. It's been the ride from Hell. This is the ONLY reason I can say I'm GLAD it's winter.. If this was the middle of the summer I'd be going out of (what's left of) my mind!!!

If it makes you feel any better I have been working on my car for like 4 years now.  All your progress has lit a fire under my butt.......maybe this year :eyes:

RAWPWR

A number of years back, I stopped to help this older guy that was driving I forget but it was front wheel drive, that he had ran up a small snow banking. He told me that he thought he blowout his transmission because the rear wheels were not turning. He then proceeded to show me by putting it into reverse and flooring it. See they don't move! Yeah you are right they don't be the front ones are spinning like hell!  :brickwall: I dug him out and he was on his way in his front wheel drive  :smilielol:

Reminds me of when my wife called me to tell me the car was on fire. I said why are you calling me? call 911 !!!!

Here's one I encountered. This lady had a minivan and was stuck in the snow. I got out to help push. She got out and said I need to take these snow tires back they are worthless and looked towards the back. I said you sure do because they belong on the front.
