remember how the sight used to be. when it had the old url. i have been part a member for years. i took a break when i didnt have a computer for about the last year or so. i miss the way it was. now all the for sale stuff is expensive and there is less selection. its all flashier but just not as good. sorry its just my opinion

Old Moparz

Yeah, I know what you mean. I miss trying to log on only find out that the website was down because the owner didn't pay his bills.

well there's always pros and cons to change, but personally i think troy is doing a hell of a job on this site. i enjoy coming here and i couldn't imagine the hours and money it takes to keep a site like this up and running efficiently.

yeah i feel ya. it is more reliable now. but it seems like so much non-dodge charger stuff seeps onto the site now. especially in the forsale sections. and do we have a members rides section? i remember there was one a long time ago.

4cruzin

I think this is much better.  At least when I click on the web site . . I don't get a "page cannot be displayed error" The old site would go down for days at a time or longer . . . Troy keeps this site going  . . . and maybe one day he will have a charger that actually runs!   :D
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

I miss a lot of things about the old site but there are a lot of things I don't miss as well. For the record, this one has been here for 3 1/2 years but the latest "revision" is only a few months old. The prices and volume of "sale stuff" is not anything that can be controlled by the site. Prices got expensive everywhere and the supply of good parts has been drying up since the cars were new. I belong to a bunch of sites and the same could be said for them all.

I think your memory may have faded - there was a lot of non-Charger content on the old site(s). There isn't currently a Member's Rides gallery. It's one of many things on my To Do list. Everything from the previous site was, for all intents and purposes, "lost". It's not like I could pick it up and move it in one chunk so it's been a rebuilding process ever since the beginning.

I have a backup of the forum database and some of the Tech pages but no pictures or any of the other parts of the site. What I don't have is permission from Jesse to republish any of it. Most of the tech threads have been covered here on the new site so there isn't a lot left of the old one that's worth saving at this point.
