Hey everyone.  I am going to sandblast my floors and weld up a stress crack and two little pin holes. What would you recommend to seal it up? Is POR-15 any good? Or should I prime and paint it? The floor is nice and solid but has some pits. I hear that por-15 will act a little as a sound deadner too? Any help would be great.     Thanks,  Jeremy

No real substitute for cleaning and prepping the metal, smooth as needed and painting it.  Not saying those products don't work, but you run the risk of masking something.  I guess it really depends what your goal is.
What you are saying would work I guess is my answer, but for how long I cannot answer.
I imagine it could be used as a sound diffuse as well.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
