Ok, so it has a couple of dents that need worked out, but its easily fixable.
Spent 3 months trying to get this from a simple 73 Charger parts add on craigslist.

The owner doesnt go on the car boards, but I did suggest he come look at the dodgecharger.com Forums

Yeah, nice score. It has all the makings of a superb addition to a good resto.

These hoods make the car if you ask me.  Very nice pick up.

Why? What was the holdup?

Christmas came in between (and my folks) a couple lost emails, and waiting on photos etc.
No blame anywhere.
BTW the guy is selling the 73 Rallye Charger parts (minus hood  :icon_smile_big: )

Does he still have the engine? Why didn't you buy the whole car?

terrible one

I was wondering the same thing, except more along the lines of why is he selling the hood? Is he parting it out? Looks pretty good from the glimpse you captured . . .

Great Score!

I was talking to the Medic here on the rig and was talking about my 73 project and I needed a hood.  Told him I was going to probably go w/ a fiberglass one.  He said "hey my brother is a big wheel at Dodge...let me see if he can find you a NOS one"  His brother called him back and said he found one.  I am waiting on the info (been a couple days now)...LOL bet I still end up w/ a VFN Hood  :D

I paid $200 for it, sounded fair to me due to the dont on the front edge.
The car is being parted out, due to lack of title. The shell made available in the summer.
He took the engine for his 73 that he is rebiulding, as its in way better shape than this one.
If you live near Cincinnati, I maybe able to give you his email, but I would have to check again with his wife, as they had a lot of timewasters call and email already.

Too far from me.  Heck of a deal @ only 200 bucks.
