I've heard good things about this place and it's semi local to me. Anyone here have some first-hand experiences with them?

Well.... lets say I liked their product enough to use them twice!  The one I got for the charger is holding up nicely!  Although I polish it up at least once a year with metal polish.  The exhaust system I got for our chally had a little issue with the one front pipe with clearance but I called them and they told me that the original driver side front pipe had an indentation on it for extra clearance of the torsion bar.  They were very helpful and even told me what to do and where to do it on the exhaust pipe.

Excellent! Thanks. They're about 200 miles away from me so it's a bit prohibitive to drive there and actually save on shipping costs. However, I can probably plan it around my trip to Crater Lake this summer. :2thumbs:

Love it -  used it on an original owner 70 R/T with no problems    :2thumbs:

I used their repro hemi mufflers, tailpipes and hangers on my '66 Charger 383. They fit great and sound great. I would recommend them and would use them again.

bought a system for a 68 r/t last fall - went on as advertised and relatively easy - no clearance problems at all.   The fellow - I think his name was Tom Swope who solkd it to me said it could be installed in 45 minutes and he was about right - I had to drop the starter to get it in so about 90 minutes for me.  No leaks - I'm very satisfied.

The only problem was the mufflers were a bid loud for my taste.  Had to buy another set of the "origianl hemi style " muffler to get it quieted down a bit and they are still a bit too loud.  But otherwise a fine company that I would definetly do business with again.

I bought a pair of mufflers from them.  Good service.  I'd use them again.

Hi Bull,

I bought an entire stock system for my 69 R/T 440 including SS tips. Great product, easy install.  :Twocents:

As did I...I had Tom custom make it 2.5" all the way to the tips though.
Had both their "stock" Hemi mufflers & their Hemi "High Flow" mufflers... progressively louder each one.

See my "Walk Softly" thread for my new muffler debacle....  :rotz:

Well, sad to say it but I've had nothing but trouble tyring to put this exhaust system in. Been fighting it tooth and nail off and on since the day it arrived on May 26. Had to wait on a passenger side hanger from Hoover and I thought it would get done once that was installed but it just isn't working out.

The ordering process started off on the wrong foot when our communication somehow got messed up as to whether I needed a 383 or 440 setup. I'm not going to go into that mess now but it seems Tom is trying to work it out.

Hopefully they will take it back since it seems to have been their mistake from what you are saying.  The two complete systems we have on our cars have had zero problems.  Hopefully they will make good on it and either reimburse you or at least get you the correct parts.

Sucks to hear Curtis.
So I am assuming with the 383 you dont have an H pipe?  That is a critical piece in a 440 application.  Since it is a welded unit, the engine itself has to be centered in the K-frame.  If its off a bit it will throw the whole exh system off.

You can get an H-pipe setup for a 383, and that's what I wanted. Again, the communication between us got confused but I'm going to take the 440 set back to Accurate and we'll go from there. I want this Accurate system to work on my car and I think Tom does as well so hopefully we'll get it figured out in round 2.

Quick update here. After having all those problems before I included a trip to Accurate on my way to Crater Lake with the family last week with the entire exhaust packed inside our Durango. Tom Swope traded out the essentials (mufflers, h-pipe and tail pipes) for a shortened set so I could try it again. Got home with the new set and it was too short. Talked to Tom again and took a few measurements and we decided the long mufflers with the shortened h-pipe would probably work. He sent me the long mufflers right away and will be having FedEx pick up the short mufflers. Anyway, now it fits, by golly! I still have to make a few minor adjustments but it's looking real good.

Just want to say thanks to the guys and gals at Accurate for continuing to work with me on this exhaust. I'm still not sure why my car turned out to be such a pain but like I've said in the past, it's been fighting me all the way.
