Will running a duel Snorkel Air cleaner make your engine run hotter vs. your basic open chrome air cleaner?

No, as long as the dual is providing enough air. Depends on your engine, if it is stroked or similar, then your dual would probably not provide the air flow needed.

For a real answer, you need to provide details of the engine, carb, etc...

If your dual snorkel is set up using the heat riser from the exhaust manifold, & the vacuum operated door isn't working correctly, I would imagine it could. otherwise, your simply taking in colder air from outside of the engine area. I haven't had any problems with mine.
