Has anyone else noticed anything odd about MP products availability, etc.? First the steel shim head gaskets that used to be $25 went up to $125, and now with the MP frame connectors I had on order from Summit, they told me that they cancelled them from my order because they had "just been advised by the manufacturer that this item is not available at this time."

Just a coincidence, or maybe something to do with Chrysler's troubles right now?  :scratchchin:

Sublime/Sixpack

I know one thing, their prices continue to go up.

A car dealer told me he could not know when he could get the MP frame connectors.

He made some comment about Chrysler finding someone to manufacturer more of them.

I got a set from Mancini Racing no problem. Try them and see if they still have them.

An MP label on something doesn't mean a damn thing to me.  It's as likely to mean "ripoff" as "quality."

I wouldn't necessarily say all of their parts are a ripoff but their selection and quality seem to be no better than anyone else in the parts industry. Me being me, I would rather get my parts from Mancini...

from what i have read on another board, Chrysler might be selling off the MP section to another company and there is also rumor of the Gen 2 Hemi stuff and small block stuff getting the tank. :rotz:
