Talked with Julius for a while yesterday...   He's a really cool dude...   He wanted some '71 Cuda Grilles, so I took him and his buddy a few...   He had 4 HEMI cars in the immediate area...   (*In Homer Simpson's voice*  mmmmm HEMI... ).   He was working on a '69 Hemi GTX that awas B5 and wore FLAWLESS paint.   He said he had 3 Daytonas there, but 2 were in the bodyshop...   Check-out what he had there...

And oh' yeah...     No Comparison:   http://www.hlpag.com/restos.com.htm

Geez, that must really be a sucky job. Could you imagine having to draaaag your butt to work every day to work on HEMI cars? :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

ChargerHound69

WOW!!!   Those are some great looking cars.  And you are right, that B5 paint does look good.

I guess since you were doing business he wasn't going to charge you $2.00 a question with a $10.00 minimum!

Thanks for sharing. Very awesome cars. Boy, I agree having to work on other peoples hemi's and awesome cars has to really be a downer. At least they are being saved. Nice restoration work. I hope mine looks like that when they are done with mine here in the east coast.

Where are the bikinis???? Where are the baywatch west coast girls???

Does Julius have an East coast operation?

Is that who is doing your car 440?

Any progress pics?

Shakey, the shop that's doing my 68 is called Millennium, no relations to any other restoration shop. I was there last week and he had the hood in the booth and he was weld plugging some holes I had in the roof. Coming along slow but sharp!. He builds limo's out of brand new Hummers, Escalades, Magnums, Navigators and 300's. Does very nice work. Kevin the owner of the shop is the only guy working on my Charger. Told him it was going to be a show car - which in actuallity I want a perfect driver! I supply him with the parts and he will do the installation, including new front end, rail connectors and when I get my rebuilt spiced up 440. He has a mechanic on duty and a auto electrician that put the limos together. I do the restoration on the accessories. I have boxes and boxes of stuff wrapped in newspaper that I have restored so far. Here are some pic's.

CA, I did'nt mean to high jack your thread. Just replying to a member.

I thought Sassy was green?

Yep you are right.   Julius and I were talking about how he was going to do that grille sassy (just stuck)...   That car is FJ5 "Lime Light" not FJ6 "Sassy Grass"...   Actually I was pretty shocked to see how different pix looked right after I took them, but here is an adjusted color shot of how it really looked:

Any pics of the Barracuda fastback?  If so, could you PM me with the, as all the pics in this thread killed my internet?
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

He is doing 3 Daytonas right now huh. Must be a rough job. Just kidding, i wish i knew body work and could do restorations on Daytona's. I wouldn't care how much I was getting paid just the chance to have my hands on a Daytona every day would be payment enough.
