I can see why the mechanic I talked to wanted over two hundred dollars to do them.

What a pain in the butt. I got the passenger side done but I'm really dreading the driver side. There are all kinds of things in the way that will have to be removed or relocated to do it. and there are a bunch of stud mounting locations on the covers with these stupid little plastic brackets and things that connect to lines and stuff. Who's bright idea was it to do that on the valve covers? My charger doesnt' do that! If you don't pull these things off the studs perfectly straight they will break...jeeze!

Finished the passenger side tonight but I'm too tired and frustrated to deal with the other side until tomorrow. I AM DONE FOR THE EVENING....Beat! :rotz:

I just did my 1999 5.2 in my Ram with the Hughes kit.
That was about 12 hours of my life I'll never get back.
If you havent done that yet put it on your list because you need to

12 hours....jeeze! I may just have to outsource that one to the professionals...lol

The other sides done. It actually wasn't too bad once I tied back all the harnesses.
