Moparbob

Its a mid 70's something and it has power windows. I'm betting the regulators, harness will go in my car. (73 charger) The guy wants to give it away,, it says "sport" on the side behind the rear windows,,

Satellite?  Road Runner?  I have no idea.  the Door handle looks like my Dads 73 road runner but who knows how many cars had that same type handle.

Looks like a post 74 B-body. Could be a Charger, Cordoba, Fury. It is basically a 73/74 3rd Gen Charger with different sheet metal. Nearly everything will interchange.

Yeah, but the '77 Chargers looked just like that...not very Charger-ish at all.
I'd say Charger Sport, or Fury Sport. Same friggin car, only a name badge change.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

1975/76 Dodge Charger(although I believe the sport package was offered on the 76) or 1975/76 Plymouth Fury.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I'm telling you, it's a '75 Fury. Those (Plymouth) emblems are the right vintage, It is a '75 Plymouth Fury.

mikepmcs

I was posting in reference to the difference between 75/76 Fury's.  The emblem corroborates the Fury deal, so now we are looking to tell the difference between 75 and 76 fury's if there is any difference.

The window motor appears to be the same.  Same part numbers for 73 charger and 75/76 fury from different vendors.  Can't seem to find regulators though.

Here is from another post i found, what is "Mopar Catalog" ??

Quoteon 74 Mopar catalog:
Barracuda 23 body: 2999830-1
Challenger 23 body: 2999832-3
All B bodies 23 and 29 bodies: 3670290-1

As catalog says... regulator is not the same even between Barracudas and Challengers.

About B bodies on catalog it appears 29 bodies. 29 is the SE code so they muts talk about a pretty rare SEs with roll down windows what were sold specially on 73... SEs with hardtop roll down window option ( non opera windows with louvers )

If you want to START A FIRE, buy this book.

It is CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP

Paul Herd doesn't know his ass from his cerebellum. Oh, wait. They are the same.

I hear the Cuda Challenger "resto" book is worse. Either way, RUN, don't walk away from any book by Paul Herd.

Oh yeah, the car sure looks like a Fury or Road Runner. Probably a Sport Fury, eh?

The '75 has round headlights, '76 has the 4 squares.  Also check 6th digit of VIN.

Ghoste

Is Paul Herd even a Mopar guy?  And yes, check the VIN or any of the other mfg tags on the door jamb or inner fender that will have the vehicle year on them.

Update

1975 fury

Vin# rp23g5g151825

The car is being crushed so i need to get this stuff out.

Heres some pics:
Front

Back

Door Tag

Fury Inner Door

Charger Inner Door

Althought the inner door looks different it has the same 3 mounting holes for the regulator. Id say it should fit. Any chance we can cross over stuff now that we have the years?

Kind of a shame. These are really nice riding cars, but I guess we can't save 'em all.

I guess that only leaves this thought: Strip it bare!

Those seats don't look bad...you gonna grab 'em?

Steve                  It is a shame, back in the day('82) a good friend of mine had a '75 B-5 Road Runner 318-2 stick car with Keystones on it, not a fast car but a nice driver.  Still better than the cars of today.

Im not sure how to get them out.

Do it the easy way, with a battery and some wire you can jumper it into operation. Or if you don't want that and feeling destructive.......
if you have the access, use an air hammer/chisel, cut off wheel(for the delicate areas) or battery operated sawzall. I'd cut that inside panel right off and not even fool with taking bolts out.  Get em out then pull the regs off and throw the metal back in the car.

How's the interior look, all there, nice shape, did I miss that post.  Get me some stuff :icon_smile_big:  J/K
