A man is stranded on a island that has nothing edible. The only thing he has is a calender.  He is found one year later alive and healthy. Name the two ways this could happen.

#1,   He ate fish.   #2,   He was stranded at the end of Dec. and was found at the beginning of Jan.   :shruggy:

he wasn't stranded very long to begin with.....the original riddle doesn't state how long he was stranded, just that he was found a year later....but not neccessarily on the island.....????
