My Charger R/T is in desperate need of a paint job, I want some opinions about paint.  Should I go A4 Silver with a Red Stripe, and Red Trim or what?

What is the car originally? Do you have everything for the interior or are you basically starting for scratch? You want show top-notch or driver quality? How much money are you looking to spend? There are numerous questions.......

I with them...There really isn't a bad factory color ? What have you got on that fender tag.

Do what your tag says!
My car's supposed to be yellow with green interior and vinyl top :puke:!
But I'm at least doing the yellow I'll see about the top later....
But if you want it to look sleek go for grey with black accents
What ever you do, just don't paint over rust, and welcome to the site! We (the people here) can tell you anything and everything you could ever possibly think you want to know about chargers! :2thumbs:

Look through the pictures in "Got a pic of your Charger?" post and see what you like. If it's a REALLY REAL Hemi car, you may want to go back with the factory original to keep the value up.

I see you made it over here.  :2thumbs:

I usually feel w/o the #'s drivetrain it's a clean slate to change color, etc.

I happen to like that shade of green it's currently painted.  Does the car have it's fender tag?

I personally don't like Light Green.

In my opinion, the F3 is a pretty decent shade. If that's the original color I would stick with it, of course this is just my  :Twocents:

Good Luck

F3 isn't a bad color, and not a bad car with A/C as well.

3 speed wipers, buckets, console, Green vinyl roof, and a black tail stripe. AM radio. not highly optioned but not at a minimum either.

1969chargerrtse

  Dang that's a common and hard question to answer.  Original is always the best, but if you don't like the color then that's a whole different story.  Paint as you wish, and let the next owner or yourself down the road bring it back.  Build the car of your dreams, you can change it back another time if you wish.  You are lucky to have the tag.   :yesnod:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

bzabodyn

I don't think you answered this.... numbers matching?

If not, I'd go with B5 blue, black stripe/black top, black interior (with blue steel wheels/dog dish hubcaps)... my  :Twocents:

hey man its cool but am still  :-\ on what I want so please continue. I cool with it.  I am just against a black interior, in the summer it is :flame: in any car, even in Northern Illinois.

:scratchchin: I like the A41W with the C6R interior.

The car is numbers matching XS29L9B306676 VIN, 9B 306676 on core and trunk lip.

Man, you have awesome taste, and this combination of color treatment is *beautiful* w/red interior.

If black interior is preferred, then black stripe it. Do what makes you tick, :yesnod: because the paint can be changed.
