While Norm did not sell Plymouths (other than trade-ins) he still serviced them & sold speed parts to their owners.

You are correct. He had all kind of makes as trade-ins. If you brought a Plymouth in for service, Dyno-Tune etc he would make the owner swear on a bible that their next car would be a Dodge from Grand Spaulding.

Sounds right handling all makes. Also the car shown appears to be a 70 demon. If the superbird was new traded in or sold from MR Norms with paperwork .Wouldnt that make it a MR Norms Superbird???

He told me he never sold any new Plymouths...Not one. Not even on a dealer trade. We never found any dealer jackets (files) on used cars unfortunately. But the fact remains it was on his used car lot and he must have sold it so yeah, maybe, kinda, sorta, possibly we can say it kinda, maybe came from Mr. Norm's.  :icon_smile_big:

** edit ...just read that , he never sold any
you never know ..he could of ordered it for his inventory ..as he was to be seen as the high performance dealer :yesnod:.... or Chrysler head office ..sent  him one thinking he would sell it .... rather than the bird going to a local family orientated , run of the mill type  plymouth dealer   :shruggy:

I know - Sad huh? The Mecca of Mopar reduced to that. I went over a few years ago with Norm and took the same kind of shots. It was rented to a "street" church at the time. Norm sold it a few years ago. I do have what was left of the parts and the "Dependable" used car sign.
