Hey Folks,

I have an opportunity to pick up a power windows set up for my 73 ralley and I'm pretty excited. I'm going tomorrow to size things up. While there not out of a charger they are the same vintage and I bet the parts are the same.

A couple of questions for those who may have been there before me.

I plan on getting the complete harness but I was wondering what is at the start of the look? Just a power and ground wire? Do they plug in some where?

Do the wires run under the dash between the drivers side and passengers side?

Do they run from the front to the back under the rocker kick molding?

The rest is pretty straight forward I'm sure.

OK, not an expert but here's what I know about mine.  The power comes from under the dash, all wires go to the main 4 switch control on the drivers door.  From the main power source (dash) the wire harness splits back to the other 3 windows.  The doors go through the a pillar between hinges, the 1/4's go under the door sill panel under the carpet.  Each window has an electric motor attached to the door innerds/ 1/4 innereds.  The regulator is run up/down by meshing teeth with the power window motor.  The doors are an easy service area. I have replaced motors easily.  The 1/4's are more difficult because of space and how they were originally installled.  I hope this helps (a little) and I'm sure you will need an electrical circut diagram to get it right. Good Luck!! I love mine!!!! John
