saving & updating threads?

is there any way to save & update a thread on to my pc or somewhere else?
the thread i innocently started on where are you from? seems to have so much stuff we shouldnt lose

If you are using Internet Explorer you can save a copy like this:
Choose "File" from the menu at the top
Select "Save As..."
A small window will open. Make sure the name is what you want and that you choose "Web Page, complete" in the box titled "Save as Type".

This saves the page only (not the entire thread) and it only saves a snapshot of it. If anyone adds more to the thread it will NOT be saved to your computer unless you resave it. This is not the greatest way to store information as it's hard to keep things updated but it does work.

What makes you think you're going to lose it?
