Almost looks black but I assume it's dark purple (maybe my screen isn't too accurate). Are those typical Magnum 500 wheels? They look a little different to me.

Very nice car!

Here's a little something you might want to go over with your machine shop regarding Stealth heads: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,49442.0.html

Looks damn nice.   :coolgleamA:  I like those silver stripes.  Those buildings look familiar too...  You in the city, or near suburbs?  The neighborhoods around here all start to look the same after a while... I'm in Lansing right now, myself.  Maybe I'll see you at a show somewhere this spring...  :2thumbs:

your 68 sure looks nice. that's exactly what i want in a charger. (off topic a little) could ya'll tell me the difference between a r/t and a 500 charger? and in the 68 model was it available both ways? i don't know much @chargers but would like to have one. i'm doing a superbird clone right now....well in the parts collection process anyway. everything has been ordered. thanks for any help you could send my way, steve

In 68 you could not get a 500. Just a base Charger or an R/T
In 69 the 500 was a Charger built with a flush front grille and headlights, and a flush rear window. They are rare.
They were built so Dodge could go racing with improved aerodynamics. Pocket Thunder's post above has a photo of the front grille on a 500.
In 70 the 500 was a mid model between the base Charger and the R/T
