What is the 3 pronged female recepticale by the ignition switch for?

When I was putting in my cluster I noticed a plug next to ignition switch that did not connect anywhere.  I also noticed a 4 bolt pattern on the bottom of the dash near that plug.  Does anyone know what might go there?
Over?! its not over until we say it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!...Hell no! and its not over now!..(Germans? Pearl Harbor?...shut up, he's on a roll)

Do you have the ignition lamp on your car?  I believe the relay for the timer on that option is a three pronger.

I am adding the ignition light, I thought it was on the map light wiring harness though.  I thought maybe this was for some option that might plug in to the hole pattern under the dash there, maybe that was a coincidence.

Does it come out of the turn signal switch? If so it might be the plug for the cornering lamps on the C bodies. My 71 Charger had extra leads coming out of the steering column that drove me crazy until I finally found them in the C body wiring diagram in the service manual.

I'll have to track it down when I am with the car next time.  There is a hole pattern under the dash so I figured they were connected.  I haven't nosed around enough of other peoples chargers to see what might go there.  Maybe the holes are for the trunk releaseand the wires are something else.

Where under the dash exactly?  There is a spot there for the reverse light on a four speed car and a spot for the rear speaker fader.  Those are both under the ashtray.

Spartan

It is almost under the ignition switch.  I forgot about the reverse light since mine is an auto

I still tend to think that connector is for the ignition light timer but one of those other options are likely what the dash holes are for.  I'm only guessing though.
