The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Nice. very very very nice. Looks phenominal.

Shakey

Very cool!   :2thumbs:

How did you break it in?   I have read that you have to let it run for 20 mins or so at a certain RPM.   Is that what you did?

EDIT: I see that the info I was thinking of is available in the Tech Section as of today.

Was everything OK first time 'round?   I know that there is always something to adjust.

On the other hand, I have seen your web site and the detail you have put into your resto, let me guess - the motor dropped right into place, a couple of quick connections, you turned the key and she started hummin'.   :yesnod:

Good job.   I would like to see that car in person one day.   I have enjoyed following your progress.   :)

You would be referring to cam break in; 20 min at 2000rpm

Looks and sounds sweet!

Pistolpete

Now that you're nearing completion, when can i drop off my 500?  :icon_smile_big:

Are you going to take it to BJ this February or wait and enjoy it a little next summer?  I dont suppose you can drive that car very much though. ...

Wow! thanks for the positive responses lets see if I can answer some things
1.Mpoar 440  Many thanks for the kudos!
2. Charger Yep!
3. Khyron Bolted in nice & tight & don't forget to say hi to my two Rotties, Trixie & Alice
4. 6pkrunner  Many thanks it takes a lot of work to get it to look like that but it is all worth it
5. Shakey I let it run at about 2K RPM for about 15-20 minutes.  It all went together pretty smoothly with just a small fuel leak from a cracked fitting and the usual timing issues
6. 41 Husk Thank You
7. Golden73 Too bad the mic on the camera wasn't better because it really sound mean in person
8. Pistolpete Many thanks!
9. PocketThunder Looks a little different now doesn't it?  Actually there is a guy in Australia that wants it pretty bad so we will see.
10. Cudahob3 :boogie:
11. hydroforce Keep your hopes up they are still out there

12. charger69  Better than sex, well okay, at least as good!
13. CudaKen  Gotta hook up the brakes first!
14. az69rtcharger You might want to get a drool cup
15. ChargerSG Working on it
16  Doc74 I will have to start following your website restoration then
17. hemi68charger I used the repop stock profile mechanical cam.   the block had the oil gallery lifer bores bushed so there was no choice.
18. 4402tuff4u  I don't think one needs to go on the dyno but it is 70 over so it should pull some good numbers
19 Gene you are always welcome at the casa
