Hey who is from the buckeye?? How far are you from me?? I live in Bloomingdale, Ohio. Who wants to donate some time to help on my charger (thats a  joke)??

Troy

You are on the opposite border from me  (I'm northwest-ish of Cincinnati). It looks like Pittsburgh is the closest big city to you isn't it? My roommate's family lives in Marietta and it takes me 4+ hours to get there.

Supposed to get coooold tonight. Dick Goddard says low teens and  more snow. YUCK. Listen, I love my home town (Garrettsville), my family, my friends but damn, I'm getting sick of putting up with winters, with cold, with scrapping my windows at 5:30 in the morning, with shoveling the back steps, the front steps, part of the driveway,(after working all day ta boot),not being able to enjoy the car, go to car shows/swapmeets, just SIT outside in my lawn chair and have a beer and listen to the birds sing, the dogs play, the neighbor kids play. Man, just sick of winter WAAAAY earlier than usuall this year. I'd move South (North Carolina, Mooresville to be more precise) in a heartbeat if the economy was better, if we could sell our home (without giving it away). K, rant over. Sorry!

that reminds me of a 70 Superbird that was around the road from my parents. it was a dead end country road and the bird had set there for so long that the only part of the car you could see was the wing sticking up through the weeds.

i asked about that car several times and he wouldn't sell it, the car was to the point it was nothing but rust but about two years ago someone managed to buy it.

HA! Great! There's allot of Ohioans here! I know theirs more! C'mon Ohioans, keep chiming in! At one time we were thinking of starting an Ohio Based mopar car club. A sort of Ohio Mopar Mafia? I Was thinkin of maybe having a car show at the local bowling alley? Maybe charging a few bucks per entry and donating the procedes to the animal shelter? I know some people who could print us up some shirts and flyer's and such. I'm also friends with the owner/operator of the local bowling alley. I was thinking an all makes type car show but members of the "Mafia" must own a  Mopar product? I was thinking after the show the members could get together at our home and have a bonfire picnic kinda thing? I really would like to do this with ANY or ALL mopar owners in the state of Ohio who might be interested. Please shoot me a PM or an email if you think you might be interested. If you have any thoughts or ideas, PLEASE shoot me a line. Thanks for your time and, sorry 'bout the thread, kinda "hijack"

Hey chargerkid01, I was watching channel 3 news last night and Mark Nolan did an interview with this place. They're in Geauga County (not sure where yet) but WOW. This looks to be the place to build an engine! They said in the interview on TV that they built the engines for Dale Jr's Busch cars years ago when he won the Busch Championship. They're website looks to be only chebby, but they said last night they'll build any make/model car, engine. If you go to they're contact page they give andress, phone number and email. They're in Chardon. Heck, thats like 30min from me, I might go check'em out tomorrow!

Terry Shade Racing Engines. 419-886-2550   He is in Bellville and has done some really awesome engines. Years ago he used to do some Nascar stuff but I don't think he does much of that anymore. Terry has done some work for me in the past and he'll be the one doing the head, block and crank work for my 440. I'll put my own engine together though.
