Transmission dipstick question

Are the fill tube and dipstick the same lenght for a BB 727 and a 518 transmission?

The 518 did not have a fill tube with it so I used 727 tube. With a Mopar deep pan and a cooler took almost 11 qts.

Since the 518 never came in a BB version the BB dipstick tube bracket won't align with a bellhousing bolt but a SB 727 tube will and it can be used.

11 qts. sounds right for your setup. Be sure to check when well warmed up and in Neutral.

Yea ,it took a little adjusting, plus the ultrabell is a little thicker than a stock case.
