Here are some pic's of the Charger 500 I owned years ago.  I traded a 1970 Challenger RT convertible for it.  The Challenger was loaded with just about everything except the bigger engine, it had the 383 Magnum.  The 500 was owned by a guy in Colorado.  We agreed on the deal and met half way in St. George Utah to swap cars.  The 500 had been slid sideways into a street sign so the passenger front fender, inner fender and bumper were all bent.  The windshield was broken and the power booster didn't work.
The first pic is when I got it home.  It was a Hemi car but had a 440 in it.  I then traded a 1970 Challenger TA for a 440 Daytona that had a Hemi in it.  I switched the engines to make the cars right and sold the Daytona.  The 500 hung around for years but unfortunately was never finished.  The Daytona was a 4 speed - 8 3/4 and the 500 was an automatic-dana car.

Yep, that was my old Hemi Charger 500, J9B138601

Baltimore 1980 still

Here is that Charger 500 with the 68 marker lights.  Jerry Service owned it back then.

69_500

Jerry Service still owns that car as far as I know. Still hoping to get a chance to get up there and see it here pretty soon too.

As far as the B5 SE that you posted pictures of HCTUB, it is not the same car that cody posted though. The car that Gordon has isn't the same one that was in Idaho. The car in Idaho has recently been purchased by someone on this board, who has posted a few times. Car had a non numbers matching engine in it when bought, and had been repainted, and interior fixed. It is also a B5 blue, AT, blue interior, SE car. Board name is "hergfest"

hctub

Wow, you do have good records!

I have never seen that color before in new condition, very nice color.

I still have some more pics from the 1980 Baltimore meet and I sent the group picture to someone to try and re-size so I can post it but haven't heard back yet.

The album has pic's of the Ford products also so if anyone wants to see them I will post them or send them to their personal email.

Just a little heads-up here, poeple.  The 1980 Winged Warriors meet hired a professional photographer to take the pictures for the album.  They are copyrighted, but , 28 years kater, the copyright would have expired, unless the photograper had the copyright renewed.  Chick Schiesser, who organized the 1980 meet, gave me permission to post whatever I wanted here, but he wasn't sure if it would be legal or not.  My suggestion, proceed with caution.  (my album is in storage since I last moved)

Hmm, didn't realize that!!!  Your opinion, should I stop posting pic's from the event?

hctub

I thought I bought the album from the club and didn't even think about any copyright issues.  Guess the 1980 Baltimore meet is over!!!

Copyright is long over and no one is selling them to anybody.....Court adjourned!  :icon_smile_big:

duh  heads up --- it's the wife typing --- as Rick remembers it (he's usually right)  A couple showed up I believe from Orlando Florida with a Talladega.  She worked for at a photography place and said it would be nice if she took pictures and put together an album for the club.  She said she'd let the club know and if I'm not mistaken for 'cost'.  So, techinacly a 'professional' photographer wasn't
to do anything.  Anyone else remember this?  They were simply club members who offered to put an album together.

Not personally sure how long copyrights have for a photo, unless it is one that is being renewed, I know they expire over a period.

Since your not selling them, rather just showing them not a whole lot of an issue. ONly issue would be if someone would take the screen shot, and then try to print it off and sell it as their own say on ebay or something.

talkiemopar

uhh - Tried to take a couple of the kids photos from ' ahhh Sears'  to another store for prints (even tho they had a do-it-yourself computer) they refused to do it.  Now, I believe if you just want to show the pics there should be no problem, only if you wanted re-produce them.  Get it      :brickwall:  eekks! Ricks going to look up their names!!!!!   Kinda a hard to do much to amatures - everyone with a computer and a disk or recoding device would be in jail from 'copywrites'

Names were Gary and Clare Leinenbach. They received the Best Talladega Stock award. Hmm if my scanner worked I'd be happy to send pictures of all the cars at the meet.  Maybe I should go to the store and copy them to CD's and e-mail them to you.  They weren't  'professionally' taken (check the backs duhhhh) They were produced the same if you had taken them yourself, and took them to K-mart to develope.  Make up your mind soon the album is about to fall apart-----  Yikes, McBride was bald back then. :smilielol:  Looks a lot like Rick.

This is as copyright pertains to photos.

As a general rule, for works (photos) created after January 1, 1978, copyright protection lasts for the life of the author plus an additional 70 years.   For an anonymous work, or a work made for hire, the copyright endures for a term of 95 years from the year of its first publication or a term of 120 years from the year of its creation, whichever expires first.

For works first published prior to 1978, it's generally 28 years, with an option to renew for another 47 years.

Whether or not a copyright is actually enforced is another matter.

talkiemopar

o.k.  Doug I believe that copywrite requires a signature of the producer of the product and 'copywrite' on the item in question - at least that's what I was told when I created products for my company ' Buyers Corner Realty, Inc.'   Of course one may be mistaken -

Doug do you know if this couple is still a member of the club.
