I miss that car. I knew that I would. It seems strange for it to not be sitting in my shop next to the B5 runner.
After I bought them, I started bringing the runner back to life and went through pretty much the same thing that you're going through with the Bee. The guy that I bought them from hadn't driven them in several years. He would start them up occasionally, but that's not enough to keep them roadworthy. Now when I drive the runner very far in the heat, it wants to vapor lock. It started that in Branson a couple of weeks ago.
And, I still need to install the new tranny and convertor in the runner and add disc brakes. It's always something.
I'll bet you money that I go through this with the Daytona clone once it's finished.

ok so i got the wing friday it looks great , dane will send them raw still needing prepped or send them filled and primed . I opted for the finished product .

68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

  I put a deposit of 1/2 payment down on rick edwards old beat up real daytona nose .  So now i have to buy the rest of the stuff to load it up.

i have not weighed it but it must be very similar to the oringinal . The solid one was much heavier .
