I bought a dual alternator conversion kit from US Car Tool about 3 month's ago and lost the instructions sheet. Does anybody have one they could post? Or can you tell me where the wires go. Did the square back alternator start in 1970?

does look is a splice job already done.

Blue wire with gray plug ( and spliced wire ) plugs to your existant blue wire on engine harness what was plugged at old mechanical regulator at IGN terminal. Then the spliced wire runs to one brush or field at alt.

Green wire, splice it to your existant green wire on engine harness, what it was coming from old regulator output, and keeps running to the other alt field.

Doesn't really matter what wire to which field
