sounds good to me. Just say single stage when you are talking to your buds and they'll think you know some stuff.

:icon_smile_big:

For the interior just adding the urethane hardener should be fine. If your clear always make sure you have put the hardener in your enamel. Mike
I did, I just wanted to know about clearcoating it
Thanks

Title transfer cost me $35 bucks but I'm in Canada so keep that in mind. I got an idea for your licence plate...how about "0hp 69"? KIDDING! :nana: Maybe "Yella '69" or something? :shruggy:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

:shruggy:  what year is you 440 again ? im not going back thru 30+ pages to find out . it could be anywhere from 8:7:1 to 12:1++ . my guess is there isnt nothing more than a cam , intake and carb added to the factory 375 horse motor .

we dont know if the 440 has been bored to 0.30-0.60 , plus war there any head work done ?  :shruggy: bigger valves ect ect ect .

in other words , we have no clue what it is till we see the guts . when the time comes pull the heads and take pics of the pistons and valves . bring one of the pistons up to TDP to see if the block has been milled or to tell how far in the hole the pistons are , most likely about 0.80 . but im just guessing .

Its a 69 charger 440, can I figure out if it bored and pistons, and everything if I just take 1 head off?
And how much would it cost for my to completely rebuild the engine?
Let it alone^.

rav440

RYAN , is the 440 running ? unless you are bound and determined to tear down the 440 . dont touch anything till you are ready and have the funds to complete the task .

rebuild costs could be anywhere from 1000+ to 20,000+ just depends what you want . all i can say is parts aint cheap . ive been buying componets for my 440 for two years now and i havent even begun to think about machine work and the cost of that .

if you want heads done figure around a $1000 + or -

its all just a question of money and what you want .
