I don't know, I've never heard of that brand before. I would go to a reputable muffler shop before I would go with a brand I'm not certain of, but that's just me....  :icon_smile_big:

I can't argue that logic, but then how hard is it to bend pipes into the correct shape and configuration?

:P Nevermind, that was a dumb question.

No, that's not a dumb question... I would hate to see you buy the exhaust, go to the trouble getting the car in the air and trying to install it, then find out it may not be bent correctly. Well, maybe if you did buy it and took it to a muffler shop to have them install it, in case they need to re-bend or tweak the pipes. I bought a Flowmaster exhaust pipe kit with out mufflers, it almost fit, it was a pain in the ass because I couldn't get the passenger side tail pipe to bend "in" more because it was hitting the frame rail. That really pissed me off  :flame: I took off the Flowmaster and installed an Accurate exhaust system, that worked a lot better for me. Yes it's more $, but less headache's... :Twocents:

I only said it was a dumb question to emphasize the fact that there are people who can screw anything up. :brickwall:

These days it seems even the name brand top shelf stuff can be pretty dicey too. You have to keep an eye on everything no matter what name it has. I went to get some Red Wing work boots a while back because they're one of the last few made in the US and now the guy working there tells me that Red Wing is starting to put its name on boots made in China. :rotz: Seems like everything is junk anymore, no matter who makes it.

That kit does not include any kind of cross over pipe, so keep that in mind.

Different animal, but they make a cat back system for SportTracs, and once my Dynomax system rusts out (again), I think I'll bolt one on to my truck. I've read reviews and most are favorable with regards to fit.

most local shops dont mandrel bend there pipe.  summit sells a kit also, ive used it and it was ok.  i had to taylor it abit but alot of times thats because not every set of headers is the same.

I wrote them to ask about a 68 Charger application and it doesn't sound too promising, especially if you want to run an X-pipe and stock manifolds:

"We only have a system without the x and for headers.  Most companies that make performance systems for these start at the cross member, and you need to fabricate it forward.  Otherwise normally you will need to go with the restrictive o.e. type exhaust.  You could try getting on an internet forum specific to the 68 charger and see if anyone makes a performance manifold back system for this.  Maybe try pypes exhaust.

Thanks,

Mike Forbes
