It's less than 2 hours away and seems like a good starter project car. It's an automatic, and I want a manual.
It's on at least it's 2nd listing. AMD doesn't have new sheet metal for '71s, does anyone?

My long term plan is this:

Charger-Bodie

Looks to be a fairly solid car. I would want to see it in person before handing over the cash though.

Looks like the outside is probably a lipstick job.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

I tend to agree. But hey, it would be getting stripped to the bone anyway. It just happens to be nearby so I can check it in person, but I'm weary of a Wisconsin car.

Mopar2Ya

I've lost count, but it's been on ebay at least 3 times. I believe it actually sold/met reserve one(maybe more?) at around $12k. I have seen nicer NOM '71's for sale for ~$14k. With the market where it's at now I'd say its a $10k car, maybe. :Twocents:

I was thinking 10k too. I'd have to see it person.

That green weenie on e-bay looks silly with that JC Whitney hood scoop. :eek2:

If it needs a trunk floor it probably needs everything else once you chisel off all of the bondo.

If I were in the market for a '71 Road Runner, I'd buy this one:

Yeah, those little indicators usually mean much biger problems. If it were a Cali car different story. I don't think I could butcher Brock's car.

I agree, go with the gold one Brock's selling for the $$

As an alternative, here's a 74 CA RR for sale pretty cheap

Being me a 74 lover, on Plymouth line I'm just toward to 71s. That's appliable to E and B bodies. I find hard to choose in my taste list any other Plymouth like my favs. Generically I preffer Dodge lines.

I know... nobody asked me LOL, but posting my opinion if I have to spend a little bit more for a 71 Plymouth in similar conditions than a 73/74, I would do it.

Looks like a nice project, except it's not a '71.

I thought the Moparts crew had you talked into modding a Satellite instead of an X or RR?

Yes/No. I can't help myself if I happen across a really cheap RR project car, but a Satellite is likely what I end up with. The thing is prices are dropping like a rock these days.

Brock Samson

I had a hard time justifying modding the BSG, (read my '71 R.R)  I thought it would be a killer resto-modded semi Pro touring Car, but I couldn't pull the trigger on it cause all the RRs I see are modded out and loaded with options,..
It seems to me a cryin shame to do much more than add discs in front...
It's funny as well cause I was sittin on a pile of dough two years ago and could'a easily done it but Drop Top kept putting me off on the paint job (three times) and then my job jumped the shark... so it's probably a good thing as it turned out...
Good luck with your plans...
