he's a New England boy..I was able to meet the other cast members and they all seem to be good kids.. I'll have to see by watching the show I guess.. luckily Brooklyn is only about a 5 hour ride from my house. so we were able to see him for his birthday..my boy

Yikes, you don't know what happened yet? Thankfully you have a son on the show rather than a daughter. I don't think I could see my kids making out in hot tubs and having sex with random dudes on camera.

The Real World shows are so overdone. What's "Real" about a million dollar house? Most cities they film in, the locals can't stand them. They start fights and heckle them until they leave the bars/clubs.

I hope your son comes out OK. 


ps- 6T9, they don't use locals for the show. Do you really want to see a bunch of goomba's flipping pizzas and screaming about the Yankees?

I like the one girl in the video that said she was just a normal kid......with her black hair, black clothes, black nails, etc......made me laugh a little. Probably is a normal kid but why can't they just be individuals and not follow some certain trend that screams I have no individuality.

Looks like Scott has it licked and seems to have a real good head on his shoulders.  Great job, Mom and Dad.

Well this season "21" is with 8 cast members instead of the normal 7. I guess MTV usually provides some type of job and would follow the cast around. However in this series, the cast had to find their own jobs and MTV followed them. Everybody was to have a dream or goal and persue it while living in NY. I told my son to keep his family jewels in check, because his grandparents will be watching

Well in all fairness, due to the fact that she does have tattoos and a certain look is a form of individuality even though there are others doing very similar things.
Technically, if everyone didn't follow a trend of and just wore "normal" clothes and did "normal" things with their hair they wouldn't have individuality either (to the judging observers at least). It's pretty much impossible to keeping yourself looking good/in style without being thrown into categories. And creating a new style? Even if you do succeed, there will be people copying you within a blink of the eye so suddenly your style is codswallop.
My view: Let em do their own thing and see what happens without judging. Its fun to watch the results

If the show is still filming PLEASE tell him to watch what he says VERY carefully..... TRUST ME, I know from experience. The story producers will take any little thing and spin it out of context to make any cast member look bad.

filming finished just before Thanksgiving.. I might even be in one or two of the episodes. we went out to visit him in October for his birthday and had that filmed..On the last day I went out to pick him up..so I might be on that one  just for the record..my ABS are much bigger than his  good beer will give you one big AB!

but REAL WORLD ? 

this is in no way anthing aginst your son as i said i hope he does well from this show . but heres my beef with the so called REAL WORLD as ive seen parts of past shows because my wife and daughter watch it .

it seems to me the past shows that ive seen are nothing more than a bunch of spoiled , mixxed up , drama queens that do nothing productive nor have anything to offer society, all they do is drink , screw , fight and whine n cry . i just dont get the REAL part ?

like i said this is NOTHING AGINST YOUR SON .

I'm not a fan of the so call reality shows either, for some reason this particular series sparks my intrest  well..my son isn't a drinker, he's been into health and body fitness since he decided that he wanted to beat up his older brother George (2 yrs older) because George and his friends used to pick on Scott all the time. So George was his inspiration for fitness. They get along great now. Now Chet isn't much of a drinker either, so him and Scott would hangout a lot together. Scott's idea was to try and use this show to his professional career as much as possible. This being in NY was a great break for him. So I'm curious to see how he does. This show was to be a change from the normal who's in bed with who, who hooked up with who in the hot tub etc. but they are all in their twenties so who knows..I'll be just as surprised was everybody else. Oh SHHHH they had a 1929 or so Model A 4door car in the gym as a prop..why who knows, but I tried to get it and the owner of the "house" wouldn't give it up..I'm still trying though.

Ryan, the arm guy seems to like to put a few down. My son is not much of a drinker, he's way to much into healthy living, and Chet doesn't drink either. you will see them in clubs with water or ginger-ale. I don't know much, so I have to wait and see.. thanks for the comment
