They do sell some connectors but I haven't looked through the whole list. It would take me weeks to make my own harness or fix the hacked up ones that I have. It's just not worth it (for me) to mess with it. My cost after the discounts was $374 and change. I wired up my own gauge tester a few months ago and it took me about 20 hours (if you've never done that it's about 6 wires, a couple of switches, and some leads). :eyes:

Money well spent!Lucky for me my Dad was an engineer so I grew up with a soldering gun in one hand and wire strippers in the other. In the USAF I installed Nav.Aids and we made wire harness for all of it.For a few years I helped restore sports cars,Lucas is a nightmare to work on, there motto should be"Home Before Dark".It took a long time to find new switches and after getting a bad NOS headlight door relay I just went to Radio Shack and made my own for 12 bucks.I will restore every thing after the kids are up and going on there own,for now it's just keep going!

I bought a lot from the Paddock a year ago for my Charger before I learned about DC.COM. Now I also now they buy from all other vendors
and resell for higher price. The advantage for a european to go to places like that is that you can gain some shippingcost when you need a lot of parts at once. That Mary at The Paddock has a very nice voice and always very friendly doesn't hurt either. ;D

I just got mine in last Friday after it being backordered for a couple weeks.  It's already in the car.  I just have a little cleaning up to do under the dash and it will be finished.  It's a nice piece  :2thumbs:

Did you guys buy any of the clips and fasteners found on that same Year One order page as the harnesses? All that kind of stuff was gone out of my car. I have no idea what's supposed to be there.

yeah bull,
you ll need an electric voltage regulator, dual ballast resistor and a dual feed alternator too to go with the later model engine harness(modified for electric ignition)
someone correct me if i m wrong.

I'll probably be buying that stuff from Summit. This is just a wiring order. I'm wondering about the clips and fasteners though...

BlueSS454

I had them send the underhood strap kit when I ordered the dash harness.  Comes with just about everything except the clip to hold the headlight vacuum hoses in place.

Do they do custom modifications? Or would it be better for me to tackle it myselfe? I need a foreward harness but need to add MSD Digital 6, electric fans, fuel pumps and a couple nitrous systems to the wiring.

The engine harness? If you're doing all that just make one. These are reproduction parts (presumably) designed for stock replacement. The best part is they use original connectors but I don't think the engine harness has too many of those. You can purchase the engine harness with provisions for a newer style alternator and electronic ignition but that's about as custom as it gets. With all the additions you're planning you'll probably want to look at adding more circuits/protection as the original wiring was never designed for that load.

I've decided to buy a complete new harness for my 69, figured it would be to much od a headache to use a used one. I just don't know where to start I need every bit of the wiring, but don'y know which part numbers to order from YO!! Maybe you can help here is my info on my car:
1969 dodge charger
318 V8
Automatic on the column
Heat/AC
dashboard map light
3spd windsheild wipers
Everything idgoing back to stock except for the radio and I'm just putting a cd player in it. I think this is it.

They do sell this one for a 68 (I presume the other years too), but I don't know if it's enough to do what all you want:

P/N HU180BM

Engine harness modified for electronic ignition and updated alternator for all 1968 B-body models with 273 or 318 engines. reproduction.
