Do you know if  the disk brakes off a 3rd.generation B Body  and a Volary are the same??? I know you have to change the front sway bar in a 1968  to a 1970 B Body so the calipers clear. Thanx :shruggy:

What is the difference on 71-72 B Body compared to 3-4 ??  What about E Body difference? Are the rotors all the same size? I am trying to get a feel for the best stock parts setup that will work together  as I am not going with a $900. kit.

Go to Mopar Action website, click on disk-o-tech and have fun!

There's some disagreement on this subject, the Mopar Action website gives the impression that "you're gonna die" if you use the later B, F, M, J, R spindles on the earlier B but many have done it with no problems; the page in the link below offers an alternate view.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Yup I just thought it was a good starting point!

You just asked if they were the same. The later ones take different rotors with a different inner bearing and race. I don't know about the outer bearing. Later knuckles are a bit taller but work fine. I have some off a Volare on my Charger. '72 to '73 was cut over to the newer ones on the B-bodies. So some 3rd gens have the older style and some have the newer style.
