thanks guys,  bobs right its going in a panther pink 2 satellite.  the motor thats in it now is a panther pink 318.... that i think will go in a purple dart.

the 383 roared to life this morning.   got the cam broke in,  now i need to change the oil, install the inner valve springs and replace the the valve covers to the new mp ones my wife opened up yesturday.

   i have a coolant leak i need to fix coming from the thermostat houseing.

ron,i went with the same crane cam i have in my green satellite.  its a hydrolic 272h. this was a real budget engine, i decided to go with a cam that i knew exactly what to expect. 

  i dont have any pictures of it in the car yet.
