My Christmas present is on its way, but will not arrive before 8th of january, and then i am already in Korea for work, and gone for a month
But Santa is sending a container with: a 68 Charger, XV level II front/rear suspention and brakes, XV steering coloumn, Mark Williams modular rearend, torque boxes, XV Body stiffening kit, XV headers and exhaust system, Griffin aluminum radiator, pretty much all charger sheetmetal from AMD, plus a shitload of small parts

Should keep me buzy for a while when i get back home

Hey guys,

The seats are a universal type from summit. The recline, slide forward and back, and fold forward for rear passengers. I'm much more impressed with them than I thought I would be looking at the pictures!

I've also got new door panels and carpet on the way!

The factory two core radiator converted to a four core to fill that hole in the engine bay...Being offshore I pick it up when I get home (that means no pics til end Jan  ).

Nice!  What color is that?  The original color of my '73 se was a jade green metallic, that seemed to have light hues of faint yellow.  I'm wondering if that's about what it looked like.

I topped up the fuel tank to make sure there wasn't evaporation allwoing condensation to form and I promised her that tomorrow I'd fire up the big block and let everything get all warm and slippery again.

Bilstein Shock absorbers, black and purple polyurethane bushings (i think thats 95% hard and 90% hard?), 1.12" torsion bars, 2 added leaf springs to the original ones (1 reverse to eliminate rear wheel axel hop) + reset, new coil, new spark plugs, braided holley fuel Hose with anodized sockets, the 750cfm double pumper HP street holley and wieand manifold was early X-mas present. Also a complete rebuilt heavy duty clutch with brass springs etc.

Yep - they are still on there and the car is cacooned for the rain here in CA...    but the plan is to do a front brake swap to later model discs....    bought all the parts (calipers, brackets, rubber lines, spindles) with new rotors for $100 off a friend of mine...  with the 11.75" rotors I doubt the 14" Keystones will fit...    So a friend is giving me a set of used Cragar S/S wheels off his 65 Mustang...    15x7 all around with 235/60/15's...    they were free so he's currently looking for the last rim in his garage...     

I like the look of the keystones on the Satty but I need 15"s

Santa stoped by the body shop on Christmas Eve and sprayed the a little paint on our 68! Obviously no where near complete, but he had a few errands to run over the next couple of days. :-)

Ah right on, I guess I just assumed that they were 15"s. That's definitely justifiable! Too bad though, they looked killer on there!

Right on man! I've been sitting in one playing Playstation for a while now and would have to agree! They seem to be a semi-popular choice then I suppose. I think I first discovered them in one of NorwayCharger's threads (I'm pretty sure he used them in his car.) Either way, I couldn't be happier for the price! Especially when you compare it to a set of redone ones . . . or hell, even some cores haha.

My Charger got NOTHING for Christmas. My wife said all the money I spent on the stroker engine was enough.

My in-laws gave me a $50 debit card to use on car parts, so they know it's never enough.

Yes - I liked the Keystones as well...    these are used cragars so...      probably when the car gets painted she'll get a new set of Keystones - that's a ways off however
