Hey everyone. Just thought I'd share a few pics of the duster I am buying. It is a #'s matching 340 4spd car. It looks kinda bad in the pics but its not to bad. The car is complete but the engine is out. I am hoping to find a build sheet in the seat. The car is out of AZ and has been in the desert for a wile. There is very little rust and I think it will be a fairly easy resto. If there is such a thing. I am planing on doing a "day two" resto on it. So appearance wise I want nothing other than tires that could not have been bought before 1980-1985. Also. Does any one know if the trunk spoilers that MAS makes are like the ones DC made for them back in the day?    Any help will be great.

Also. If anyone has a 72-74 hood scoop they want to sell.  I would love it.  Also rally mirrors.

Also. Notice the build date.

If any one has pics of V21 on a 73-4 duster, PLEASE PLEASE show them to me.

340 four speed huh?  That'll make a great street/strip car and it looks to be a solid start too.  I always wanted a 340 Duster when I was a teeenager but it's one Mopar I've never owned, congratulations C stripes.  :2thumbs:

Where's that Hang 10 going? Any info on it?

Good Luck with the Duster. Mine was also built on 426, but one year later. :2thumbs:

Nice score. Wish one of my boys would buy a car just like it. My 68 also has the same build date. Gerry
I used to own a mopar because it was different, but now I know better.

Nice find. You gotta love the desert cars. All the metal is still there.

Nothing wrong at all with a 340/4 spd Duster...I bought a 74 early in 2006 (for my son currently on a 2 yr church mission) Pic is below...Its no 4 spd, but I really like it. So far, Ive yanked the 225 slant 6 and put in a 318 I had from a 74 Valiant Brougham.

Congrats!

I like those wheels and center caps. :D
15" ? :scratchchin:

Yep.  They are 15's. I like them but I want other wheels. So they will be coming off.  I will sell them for cheap.  I am going to go get more pics of the car in about an hour.  I can't wait to get it. But I will not be able to progress with it much for awile. But at least I will have it.

The hang 10 is for sale.  Here are some more pics of it. I will also get more of it today.   http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2968789/3
There are other A-bodys on there also.

Thanks for the link. That Hang 10 isn't worth much (Maybe $500-$1,000). Let me know if you want to sell the carpet from it.  :yesnod:

I took a bunch more pics today.  Its not that bad. There is a little rust but not much. There is no m/t but other than that it is complete. I think if someone offered $1800.  He would take it. But for what he paid and the ammount it costs to get it here from AZ.  I don't think he would take much less.  I will post more pics on that link soon.

Dang, he's going to own that car forever if he thinks he's getting $1,800. Even with the #'s M/T, he probably wouldn't grab over 1K. The body and motor aren't the important parts on those cars. Once the interior is shot, it drops big time in value.

Like I said.  Its not as bad as it looks.

Tell 'ya what, let him throw it on ebay with a starting bid of $500 and a reserve of $1,800. As long as there is no shilling, we will see what it will sell for.  :2thumbs:

C_stripes

We are going to wait till spring and put everything on Ebay. Around 40 cars.  in the winter nothing is worth much.  And I am not saying your wrong. I am just saying he needs that much out of it to break even.  I was also stating that it is not in as bad as cond. as it looks. I bet I could get that interior to look fairly good. As for the body.  It needs some stuff.  Its nicer than the one I had a few years ago. It ran and drove though. But I sold it for $900.  It was real rusty and the front seats were recovered. My friend that bought it will be registering it on the hang ten registry soon.  I talked to him about it 5 minuts ago.

Cool! :2thumbs: That will fill my quota of "1" per year registered.  ;)

I heard from a Hang 10 friend, that Legendary is not making the seat covers anymore. I have to check that out myself, but if it's true, it will be devastating to anyone trying to restore one of these.

42- 1974 Hang 10's, and 26- 1975 Hang 10's so far. Unfortunately many of them look very much like the one your friend is going to to sell.

Hey Chris,  Sorry its been awhile. Here are some pics of the two hang 10's. I ended up getting the one from Neil for $500 and let my friend take it. Here are a few pics and the fender tags for your registry.
