Found a duster pretty reasonable so I said what the heck.  6cyl,runs just fine, needs exhaust gasket, brake issues and what appears to be a broken t bar maybe, rear bumper is trashed.  didn't really look at the front end as hard as I did the rear.  pretty solid overall and the interior is white with some funky inserts like plaid or something. good luck finding that stuff.  drivers side is trashed, but rear seat is nice but dirty. dash has a couple cracks, and need new a pillar trim(totally rotted)  headliner is mint.  too bad that vinyl top has a couple cracks cause it sprayed off to almost showroom white in a few places.
original color looked to be a brown/reddish brown color.  L-6 maybe Aztec Gold.(if it's a 74)  t-8 maybe if it's a 73.
Front turn signals and front bumper say 73 but vin says 74.  Haven't been in the car since i got it home a couple days ago.

Yeah that's a 73 coronet next to it, that i picked up 2 sundays ago for $250, also a 6 that runs, just needs some serious tin works and a little cap on the driver side frame rail under the driver seat.  Might make that one a police car replica.  No particular show car or anything just a black and white with some lights on top and a couple stickers on the doors.who knows.

And no Brian, the Genny Lee still isn't done.  Heat is an issue, but I scored a heater and i'll be hooking it up soon.  Finished the new push bar though.  turned out mint.  BC/CC triple black. Sooo shiny, ooooh :coolgleamA:

Here's a couple pics i took a few minutes ago.

Have a good day ya'll, gotta go cater for my buddies family.

I have alot of memories of going 120 in a petty blue 73 coronet with a 318. I have allways wanted another. I would like to find a 71 though. They are way cool cars.

Nacho.  How can you tell that the duster is a 74 and not a 73 by looking at it? I didn't think there was any way to tell. The only way that I think you might can is if you look at the spacing between the rear bumper and the body, but the pics are not good enough to tell that.

Great scores. I think the coronet would make a cool police car.

I'm gonna guess hes looking at the seat belts.   ;)

I have seen 73's with the shoulder belts too though. I think they were late cars. But that is a good assumtion.

I'll have to get off my arse tomorrow and get in the car and do some digging to see what the what is.  Like I said VIN says 74 so most likely it is but just appears to have some 73 nuances.   Maybe it's some special rare 6 cyl prototype, late model half year latte half calf decaf mocha almond with a twist.

73's & 74's are very similar. Nacho could probably tell you most of it. Seatbelts had integral shoulder harness for the first time, all 74's have this stupid seat belt interlock electrical gizmo, steering wheel will have a "fat" center pad, something different about the gas tank, I think.

I bought/sold one earlier this year. Gold Duster with fold-down rear seat, snakeskin top, ZERO rust. I got $3k for it. Compared to 70-73's, it's a tough market. I have no clue why, but some A-body guys I know don't care for the big bumpers and grille. I'm a B/E body guy at heart, so Dusters are all the same to me.
