G'day guys,

well, for thos ethat don't know, for some time now I've been trying to get some trim rings for my 15 inch Rallye wheels. For you guys, this is probably easy, but for me here in sunny Australia, it was a pain.

For starters, the place where i got my Rallyes here sold me some trim rings which were supposed to be right for Mopar wheels. They fit OK, but were the ones that leave a huge gap between the edge of the ring and the wheel centre.

Anyway, I searched the net looking for a set of trim rings which a) fit my wheels properly (left no gap) and b) didn't cost a squillion dollars.

I found that the difference in prices for "the right" trim rings is incredible. In any case, I finally settled on Jacks Auto Parts, thanks to another Aussie on this very forum. The trim rings I got were a good price (taking into account postage as well - not cheap). I just hope that any of you looking to get Rallyes get the "right" trim rings, because the generic ones I originally got fitted on the rim, but just didn't look right at all. Here are the pictures, and also......Jacks Auto Parts www.jacksautoparts.com was really easy to deal with and shipped 'em really fast.

Oh.....and the wheels shown are front and rear (15x7 and 15x8). There is a gap on the 8's, but I expected that because you have to use a 7 inch trim ring. Looks great on the road.

G'day guys,

well......I took the Bee for a good long drive yesterday in the Summer sun, down to a beach. Ran beautifully.

Whilst I know it's only a small addition, those wheel trims really set the wheels off. If anyone ever needs any advice on wheel trims, I'd be glad to offer whatever limited knowledge I can on the subject. I found it was hard getting exact info so whatever i can do to help....feel free to ask. :2thumbs:

Regards,

Peter
