Hi,

I did a valve job on a set of 440 heads for a motor I'm working on and can the heads be put back on either side or does it matter? The reason I ask is one of the three poser steering bolt holes has been helicoiled and I would like to reverse switch them so I can use the fresh holes on the other head.

nope don't make any difference , just make sure the oil feed holes for rocker gear in the heads  are free from any .. sludge ...debris etc ..... as your using the other set of holes in the oppisite end of  the  head  now  :yesnod::yesnod:
