hey guys, how close is the radiator is the fan supposed to be,mine has got a wide aluminium spacer on the waterpump and the fan is bolted to that and only gives like half an inch or so clearance-seems a bit close to me :shruggy: 68 charger rt
I don't care what is is designed to do,I want to know what it can do.

It's a little closer than I'd like to see if it were mine.  I like to at least have enough room to get my hand in there to tighten the capscrews holding the fan on.  (an inch?)

I think 1" is the shortest spacer availiable.Had to have this one machined to 9/16" to get 1" clearance when I changed to a 4 core.
