At the first sound of this, every adult in America will laugh at the idea that this would be allowed to become commonplace.  They say, "HA! No way in hell am I gonna let The Man do that to ME.  Good luck selling that one here in the states!"


  .  .  .  But then these things will start creeping into children "just for their protection."  That's where it will begin.  Adults will endure all kinds of risks on their own, but when it comes to protecting our kids we'll suddenly become pathetic submissive drones and fall right in line.  We'll go ahead and chip our kids, fearing a bunch of new threats.  (And of course these threats will be things which hadn't actually ever worried anyone very much until the era of chips).


Eventually it will still be technically legal to remain un-chipped, but it'll just gradually be rendered more & more impractical until it's very uncommon.  Just doing business any other way will become tantamount to "probable cause" for cops when searching you, it'll get you audited by the IRS every single year, it'll make you unemployable with any major govt or corporation, etc.

There has been a lot of discussion on that... some think its a chip that will be implanted as previously stated... others think it's a SSN since the bible states it as "Six hundred three score and six" ergo 600-60-0006... and some think it's both. Either way the outcome will be the same - you cannot buy or sale things without that mark. 

Just more signs of the times...

 Back in the late '70s when i worked as an apprentice for a large local and nameless graphics firm, we were meeting with a large bank's senior execs to do their entire logo and signage, and over the course of several meetings they divulged this was gonna be the future as everything from medical records to credit to school records could be carried this way.
I remember one of them a senior vice president saying that if you didn't possess the correct chip quite literally certain doors wouldn't open to you...

Believe what you want, but the possibilities are out there and there is always some @$$hole trying to push it for some great reason. Just look at how Christmas is changing, my kids can't do a Christmas play or sing any Christmas songs that have anything to do with Jesus (the whole reason behind Christmas) at school. My worry is not just about cash, nor about the "mark of the beast" stuff. 

(As for 666, there's a likely explanation for that already.  Emperor Nero was a Christian-persecuting MoFo at the time that biblical stuff was circulating.  His name, when spelled out in a roman numeral counting method that was common at the time, added up to 666.)

Real evil-empire stuff doesn't have to be a pre-planned sinister scheme from some theatrical Dr. Evil figure.  It's usually just a million little smaller decisions, made for practical reasons, that add up to something much worse than any of those choices were on their own.
