Chrysler to do NASCAR for another year

I just read on another forum where Chrysler has committed to doing another year of NASCAR albeit at a greatly reduced level.  It's kind of a surprise to me that they are doing it at all but apparently the other three participants are also going in at a reduced sponsorship.

Thats only part of what surprises me Mike, I can somewhat attribute it to their marketing budget.  They still have to advertise right?  But I'm surprised that Congress wouldn't have something to say about it?

The Dodge dealers collectively fund the program.     There are also contracts in place with teams.
