What is the worst job you've had?

Scoopin' hog Shi!t. Next to that, working in a slaughter house, actually killing the hogs that produced the Sh!t. The Swift plant in Marshalltown would slaughter 16,000 hogs in two 8 hour shifts. It was like one every 3-4 seconds. On the other hand, shooting the rats in the barn with a Co2 powered pellet gun was pretty damn fun!!

When I turned 38 my parents said I had to start working for the family business & couldn't lay around at home any longer until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. It was tough for the first 6 months trying to get up at 10 in the morning to get to the Ferrari testing facility every Wednesday to see what the top end was on whatever car they had that week, but I managed. After the first year I said I needed a lot more than the $350,000 annual base salary & 3 months vacation time, but they thought that I was the one that was being unreasonable. We settled on $425,000 & 4 months vacation, but the expense account stayed the same.  ::)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I had cake jobs compared to most of you, my worst was night shift at a gas station alone.

Does that translate to "old English" as a retail sales clerk??

Kills me the BS "titles" employees get now... "sanitation engineer" (trash guy)... Think I'll start a thread on that...

Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
      a liberal, oh fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable!

My worst job was harvesting hops in the summer between school years, and to make things worse my job title was "hooker".

The hops are grown in hanging vines and then cut down and laid flat in a wagon. At the processing plant the hookers stand in the wagon in the hot sun and hook the stems of the heavy vines onto hooks on a conveyor chain. They are harvested at the end of August when the temperature lingers around 100°. Twelve hours a day six days a week. The resin in the hops pollen makes you itch so you have to wear long-sleeve shirts with the neck and sleeves taped shut to keep the pollen out.

Below is a pic from the company I worked for.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

So beer drinkers everywhere owe a debt of gratitude to a hooker?

He said "That's a mirror, dip-shit!

actually, I was the manager of the office that dispatches every single direct tv install on Long Island. I was in charge of 30 in house techs and about 30 subcontractor techs.  Corporate conference calls, 4 supervisors working under me....  If it was a sales clerk job, I'd probably still be there!! :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big:

If you live on Long Island and had direct TV installed in your home between October of 07 and feb of 08, then I was ultimately responsible for it.  Some day when the antichrist ascends from hell and takes over the world, he will be sporting a hat handsomely emblazened with the direct tv logo!!

I was a sewage diver before I came inthe Air Force. I used to have to go in the tanks to clear organic blockages. The stage #1 tank was the worst!  :eek2:

Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.
