October 31 at about 1:00 am a 1970 Dodge Charger RT   440 4 speed

was stolen from an upholstery shop in Newkirk Oklahoma

Charger is Bright laser red with a black vinyl top and black tail stripe!  

It has NO Interior in it at present time!

That is upsetting.  I hope you find it.  Do you have a picture of it, or the Vin so we know what we are looking for??

This makes like what, 3 cars in the past year that I remember. I never heard anything of the red & black Cuda that was stolen a few months ago :-\

That car is the same factory color and is a factory 4spd like my 70 Charger RT! I didnt think there was another one of those in the whole midwest!

That sucks and I hope he gets his car back! Any pic or VIN description of this car?

 Last Charger that was stolen was red with a black top. Had the cops at the shop looking at mine. Guess the cops will be at my house next mine out side right now.

Hope he finds it, or well insured.

I hope to have more info sometime today and a picture. I think this was the final thing to be done on a restoration so there probably isnt any good pictures of it just yet.

I would hope there are a ton of pics of the resto and the new coat of paint.   :shruggy:

If you can get a pic & VIN #, I'll post it on my local Mopar club site.

Because this car had no interior, I don't think it was taken as a joy ride car like that one last year...I hope it turns up quickly & in good shape. :'(

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Unless they had a bucket to sit on, they probably wouldn't get far. 

I have a feeling Foose had nothing to do with it either, although that would be nice.

The price of parts, and all the hype around them lately, that car is probably on ebay in the parts section as we speak.
Or, it have a new vin screwed to the dash along with all the other numbers grinded off.

With a car like that in the condition it was in........ Most times it ends up being an inside job. :icon_smile_shock: :icon_smile_sad:  I wish him all the best in finding his car, But I fear the worst has already happened to it. :rotz:

that would  be one case where is foose got a hold of it that WOULDN'T be nice. what he would do to that car would be worse than if never touched to begin with.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!    The Charger was found today and was all there and un-damaged! Just got a call from the owner a little bit ago!

Glad it was found. Wouldn't you thinking posting a VIN for everyone to see would be a bad idea in a case like this? I'd be afraid of the thieves removing the VIN from the car to cover their tracks.
WANTED: NOS or excellent condition 72-74 4 speed shifter boot for bench or centre armrest car, part number 3467755. It's a rubber boot that looks like it's sewn up leather.

Like the blue and silver RR everyone liked ? Did anyone actually see the waves in it, did you see them slapping bondo like there was no tomorrow ? I'm a bodyman myself, if I see anyone do that he can go get his stuff and find the exit.People need to take pride in their work, bondo exists for good reasons, covering up is not one of them.
And regardless of all that .... if anyone did that to me, 'steal' my car to have the bozos 'overhaul' it I'd be more pissed than anything.
I have yet to see anyone do it properly, altough if I could've seen more, Troy Trepanier certainly seems to know what he's doing.

Btw, who did the flame paintjob? I've seen some before from the same guy, never liked it but it seems to be executed very nicely.

That is the R4 color in 69.  In 68 it was just 33-1 Charger red.
