Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Hey man! Cool, I feel honored!

Copy and paste from the thread:

I have:

Installed new Mopar XHD leaf springs
Installed new shocks
Installed new brake lines front and rear, and master cylinder
Pulled the rear, restored the housing, replaced the 2.76 pegleg with a clutch type 3.55 suregrip unit
Replaced everything up front: ball joints, bushings, etc. excluding sway bar
Pieced together a disc brake setup for the front
A fresh, mildly built 383 lacking a few accessories
A rebuilt 727 from member RD
Driveshaft
Other shit

I need:

Wiring
Seats
Motor mounts
Driveshaft strap thingies
Radiator
Firm Feel steering box and Flaming River coupler
Rear drum hardware
Parking brake cables
Starter
Some other shit

I hope it's on the road for spring.

As of right now, I've got the engine apart for the last time so that I can switch out the head gaskets to the MP steel shims for a bit more compression and so that I can change out my camshaft and in turn valve springs and timing gear. As soon as that's all done, I just need to buy mounts for it and in it goes. Same with the transmission. Basically it all depends on how quickly I can earn money. I'm about to drop everything else I have on some seats, carpet, door panels, flexplate, torque converter, the rest of the engine stuff I need, etc. Hopefully my income tax return will take care of the rest. The restaurant I work at is BOOMING with parties all this month and the 50 hour weeks are really helping me out financially. As for me being excited, hell yeah I am! Ever since I got the car I've daydreamed about it every day, and every step closer to starting it up is crazy. I'm very passionate about my Charger and it is the only material posession that I've put even close to this much time, effort, money, and love into. I've wanted one since I was about 11, and I don't know what I'll do when I'm driving it!

That's what I keep hearing! I hope so. I'll definitely take a video. I'm ready to finish up my exams so that I don't have class getting into my Charger time anymore.  :D Thanks for the kind words man. I appreciate it!  :2thumbs:

Thanks man. I'm wondering if I should go with that paint scheme or a black DMCL style stripe down the whole bitch. I definitely lucked out getting it. I bid on it with 7 seconds left and put it at $4,000 (The seller had told me the reserve, which was $3,800) and I kept refreshing the page and with 1 second left someone bid on it and got it for f***in' 4,050. I was so upset. I e-mailed the seller and told him to get with me if the deal with the winner went through, even though I thought it was hopeless. Still, in two days, the seller e-mailed me and told me that the guy's wife wouldn't let him get it, and that I could have it for $3,800. Of course, I was ecstatic! My heart had been aching the two days before!
