Which is not it's sole claim to published media glory btw.  :icon_smile_wink:

Yup, she's been around over the years.  :yesnod:

The crazy thing is that the first time it appeared in a magazine was the September 1990 issue of MuscleCar Review. That was the magazine that John Ehnat, the young man at Suburban Dodge was reading during his lunch break in August 1990, when he and his co-worker were asked to throw out all the old dealer files. They dumped them out into the dumpster and guess what file landed on top?...my Charger's file. John then hunted down my address and sent it to me out of the blue. How's that for a Twilight Zone episode?

Just got my Oct Hemmings Muscle car mag.  It did a nice spread on old and new Challengers on the cover.  Inside are those annoying cards to reorder.  What picture of a car did they put on the card to excite you?  Steve's 70 Hemi charger.

Since when did our '69 Pontiac owners become so jaded and jealous of the '70 Charger?  It seems like a consistent attack lately. Don't hate fellas, your cars look nice...from the back.  :icon_smile_wink:

Can't we all just get along  :bawling:

However I did notice that their avitars are side views. Hmmmmm  :scratchchin:

You have to admit it though, the 69 grille really sets off the rebel flag and 01 numbers really well and the center section is perfect for cutting through the wind for those big jumps. (sorry, couldn't help myself )

And the change of direction for the thread begins.  Didn't we do a vote on the favorite year?  If I remember correct if it wasn't for some fake voting making 68 look more favorable than 69, 69 won ( just kidding )?  As for the grille issue of 69,  doesn't the fact that the 70 grille looks like the mouth of a blue whale bother you?  :hah: :nana:  I crack me up. :smilielol:  No?  Chill baby, I love all 3 years.   :drool5:

Too bad the beauty of the 69 grill had to be marred by the add on crash bar...  not like the 70 with that built in ugly mofo crashbar... ie mean bumper  :icon_smile_big:

And it served a good purpose...  winningest short track car for 70 nascar season!!!   That built in pushbar really helped trading paint!
