A few mopars taken by the government.

Hey everyone, Just wanted to inform you all of a few mopars that might be up for auction somewhere.

A few weeks ago here in Logan, UT we had a dealership (Grants Drive Now) get shut down by the feds. They were buying cars and not paying for them and selling them, Taking trades and not paying etc... Well the owner was a local mopar enthusiast. He had some very nice cars that all got taken. Included are the following:
1967 HEMI 4spd charger project factory black with power windows and a nascar spoiler. I seen the car and it was awesome.
1967 Charger 383 Auto His uncle was the orig owner. 55K orig miles if I remember correctly. Beautiful car in the turban bronze with a white top and keystones.
1967 Coronet R/T survivor that was in beautiful orig con dishon also in turban bronze with a white top. The numbers matching 440 is with the car but pulled out and he had a DLI build 426 HEMI installed
1967 or 68 B-cuda convert in red with a black top
1966 B-cuda in red
1970 Challenger T/A in panther pink. Real FM3 T/A.
1967 Polara 2dr in brown
And others.
All of the cars listed other than the HEMI charger were in mint con dishion with low miles. The T/A had barely been finished being restored a few months ago. And it was bright. So keep your eyes open for some nice mopars coming up in a government auction. I was told they came and got them and took them out of state. I don't know where.

I suppose the government will have clear titles to them all.

That's the one. The sad thing is, is that Wes was the owner and not the one running it. The guy running it disappeared and left all the blame on Wes and his son.

One would think that those cars would be coming up in a local auction probably within the next 2-3 months. I'm sure they will draw quite the crowd wherever they are up for sale.

Depends how much advertizing is done regarding the auction?

I was thinking wouldn't the cars somehow go back to the people that the dealer bought them from since they weren't paid for???

The muscle cars were in the owners privet collection. They had nothing to do with the dealership. But since they committed fraud, he looses everything.
