Hope you get it back!!! I love classic Dodge trucks! They are way under appreciated by the aftermarket crowd. :2thumbs: :coolgleamA:

I'm guessing whomever it was/is, probably knows them or is in the area enough to know that this truck was in the trailer. It's probably someone close to home. :scratchchin:

Good luck, keep us updated

They were probably hoping the bird was in there.

Hope they find the truck.

I do not know of any other location on the 70's trucks that would have the VIN. As far as the service manual goes its just on the plate thats rivoted to the door.   The older trucks had it stamped on the frame by the front left wheel.  Sometimes the equipment ID tag is still under the hood but I havent seen many trucks with it still on as some were stickers.

If anyone knows of another location I would like to know about it too!

Hopefully he didnt take any insurance $$$ or the truck is headed for the junkyard or auction......

Sounds like something that happened at my workplace. We had a brand new (at the time) flatbed tilt trailer that was stolen from one of our lots. It was missing about a week, then one of my coworkers thought she spotted it in some guy's backyard off the highway. She called my boss, and he called the cops and they went over to check it out. Sure enough, it was our trailer. Of course, the guy who lived on the property said it belonged to his cousin..... ::)

Glad they found the truck. Now hopefully they can bust the prick who took it.
