"The owner is crazy. He's always drunk is very hard to deal with. He's in another world. He said he personally DROVE nearly all the cars in a field in the 60's-70 and left them there for dead"

What is it with junk-yards and "eccentric owners"? Wouldn't it be nice to find a junk-yard with a nice down-to-earth guy with reasonable prices?

If he likes to drink someone should trade him a couple skids of Jack Daniels for all the rusted stangs or a semi truck full of Coors. :icon_smile_big:

What a friggin' shame.... all that vintage iron that has pretty much gone to waste due to the eccentricities of some drunk old fart... lots of what could have been some impressive vehicles that are little more than rusted parts cars now. Didn't see much of anything that could be considered restorable, and I looked through all the pics. Gotta wonder about some people... :rotz:

my friend Bill has an 'urban' junkyard. He has like 20 odd insanely cool cars ranging from a first year corvette to a 70 cuda to a willys etc , noy to mention MOUNTAINS of parts, all in various stages of decrepitude stashed in weird little garages and storage spaces all over town. even though he is totally broke all the time, and never works on the cars, he just keeps buying more.

Absolutely! That place looks amazing! And looking on the satellite images there is no way that those 250 pictures capture close to a FRACTION of the cars/parts there. There's got to be at least a couple 2nd gens around there!

Charger_Fan

I made it through the first 90 pics & saw no 2nd Gen's. Saw three 3rd Gen's, though.
Then there's this... :(

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

hemi-hampton

Yeah, That looks like a 70 Gran Coupe Barracuda with most likely a 383 at one time. I'd take it. LEON.

a nice kick to the gut would help. I'll help "retire" this alcoholic, then give away cars/parts to good homes.
