I always prefer lowering the front rather than raising the rear. :Twocents:

SFRT

of course the xs.to server is down so all my pix are fried.

anyway..use your imagination...I have been playing with the stance on the scow nonstop to get both the look and the performance I want and have pretty much settled on the following combo:

front:235/75/60's in a 15x7 wheel firestone firehawks with oversized torsion bars and tubular upper control arms with the front ride heigth cranked way up about 4" and the QA1 gas shocks on the third softest setting of 12 offerred. gives me fast weight transfer and clearance for my deep sump oil pan.

on the rear I have Caltracs on the middle hole. Qa1's set on the third to hardest setting and 1" over split mono leaf springs with 265/50's on a 15x10 wheel with firehawks.

I am currently looking for a larger rear tire setup maybe hoosiers or MT's or something.

car sits '60's high' with the rear about even or a tad bit higher than the back and hooks up like a fiend.

as a daiy driver in the city, the roads here are waaaaaaaaaay potholed etc, so the over-all high stance works out well, if a little bumpy.

I switched from the SS springs to the split mono because with the caltracs the ss springs where way too stiff and I was getting a little wheel hop.
