I am considering of purchasing a 1970 Dodge Challenger convertible, B5, 318, black top, black interior, tach, original spare with bottle, perfect grille and bezels, has the bulge hood but its rusty, all the parts are there, automatic, three speaker dash, air conditioning.  The car was originally from California, but it sat in the parking lot for 5 years.  It will need torque boxes, rear frame rail replacement (no big deal..I would do the car on a rotisserie), and quarters need work from rust.

I know you guys are going to ask for pictures which I will do soon.  But what would you offer for it?  I know what it's worth to me.Again, what would you offer the guy for it.

I had a neighbor that just got 18,500 for what I would call a ratted out 318 BH code cuda.... WOW....

So I would say unless you have a lot of $$ or this guy has no idea what he has....WELL GOOD LUCK.

Usually the door etc, are off so that loss is significant  YES you SHOULD  support the body before you put her up.

I am well aware of doing rotisserie restorations.  If you check out my website, www.rocpar.com, you will see the 70 Challenger convertible that we painted panther pink.  This car was done on a rotisserie within 3 months.  Yes, three months in time for the 2003 Woodward Dream Cruise.

He knows what the car is worth.  He is well known in the automotive industry for convertible tops.
Any more suggestions on offers?  By the way, there's a brand new car cover in the trunk that I found.
